Plan on visiting the Amarillo Opera House where you'll experience first rate and first class opera in its finest form. We saw Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor at a weekend getaway. The set complemented the singers beautifully; brooding and haunting as befitting a tragic love story. The orchestra was amazing and Alattar as Lucia incredible. The sextet, executed brilliantly during the dramatic return of Edgardo, Lucia's real love, to the scene of her marriage to another, was spell-binding.The opera is a must see experience.

Candide was FANTASTIC! Great acting from singers from almost everywhere. A bit pricey but worth it. a must see for theater and art lovers.
