I just love this little gallery. There is so much diversity, and done with a lot of class. The surrounding areais so beautiful that this gallery just fits in nicely. Off the beaten track but well worth the visit.

During a driving tour of Lake Simcoe sites, we happened upon a delightful wee gallery in Lagoon City. A treasure of unique artists, displaying their work in various mediums. A must see.Lynda B.

Worth the trip to view and purchase the hard work of some of our 'not known yet' artists in the area. Well done!

Gallery 7 is an inspiring experience with a unique mix of local artists with artwork in a wide range of mediums. Take some time to enjoy the experience of quality art located in one of the most beautiful places in Canada.

This artist-run cooperative Gallery/Studio has a wonderful diversity of style and mediums on display. It is surprisingly sophisticated being so far off the art hunters beaten path. Stone sculptures by Karen Brodie. Metal works by Derek Greene. Photography by Gail Smith. Paintings by Catherine Cadieux, Louise St. Amour, Anne Sasso and Suzan Bertrand. This gallery is located in beautiful, unusual Lagoon City, which is an excellent destination for a day trip. There is a local farmers market operating in the parking lot on Saturdays from 9:00 - 12:00, June thru to September. The gallery makes a wonderful little browse and the prices are quite reasonable ranging from large canvases and sculpture to little treasures. Also on sale are prints and note cards depicting local scenes. Lagoon City offers three restaurants, all within walking distance of Gallery 7.On Saturdays, you will find several of the displaying artists on staff, eager to talk about their work, art in general or whatever you'd like to chat about.
